The vines are the typical varieties of the region and of the AOC Limoux appellation:Chardonnay, Mauzac, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and also Pinot Noir. The vineyards of Domaine Astruc benefit from a very special intermediate climate, sheltered by the Pyrenees, where oceanic and Mediterranean climates combine. The vines of the Limoux appellation area are located at the top of gentle slopes on a thin, light, stony soil.
